Developed and deployed an automated cleanup workflow for the Seeed-Studio/MakerCamp repository, focusing on maintaining repository hygiene by closing stale issues and pull requests on a daily schedule. The solution utilized GitHub Actions and YAML to orchestrate the automation, integrating an external script for managing stale discussions and ensuring consistent, reliable cleanup. This approach reduced the need for manual intervention in repository maintenance, streamlining the process of tidying up inactive conversations. By establishing a reusable automation pattern, the work laid the foundation for future hygiene tasks, demonstrating effective use of CI/CD practices and workflow automation within the project’s infrastructure.
