Worked on enhancing point of sale inventory and packing workflows within the frappe/erpnext and aerele/erpnext repositories, focusing on backend development and user experience design. Addressed overselling issues by refining bundle reservation logic, ensuring that both direct and component reservations are accurately tracked across multiple sessions. Improved the accuracy of historical reservations using snapshot-based methods and clarified error messaging for insufficient stock, making inventory management more transparent for users. Implemented features to consistently populate packing data during invoice processing and expanded validation for packing and quantity calculations. Utilized Python, database querying, and code refactoring to deliver robust, maintainable solutions.
