Over a two-month period, contributed to OriginTrail’s ot-node and dkg.js repositories by delivering nine features and resolving eight bugs focused on blockchain reliability and performance. Work included refactoring sync logic, optimizing batch operations, and enhancing logging and telemetry using Node.js, TypeScript, and Shell scripting. Implemented robust error handling and configuration management to improve system observability and maintainability. In dkg.js, introduced event finality checks and conditional transaction handling for OTP-enabled blockchain workflows, addressing issues with block confirmation and runtime stability. These efforts resulted in safer Knowledge Collection minting, improved throughput, and clearer error surfaces across OriginTrail’s backend and blockchain services.
