Worked on the android/nowinandroid repository to enhance performance profiling capabilities, focusing on enabling data-driven optimization of application startup and runtime. Developed and integrated a nightly profiling feature by updating the NightlyBaselineProfiles.yaml workflow, which now generates both baseline and startup profiles during nightly runs. Leveraged build automation and CI/CD practices to ensure the Gradle task :app:generateReleaseBaselineProfile executes automatically, collecting profiling data in a dedicated output folder for downstream analysis. Utilized YAML for workflow configuration, emphasizing maintainability and reproducibility. This work provided a foundation for ongoing performance improvements by systematically capturing and organizing profiling data within the build pipeline.
