Worked on enhancing the data access layer for the Lollolewa/EsempiCorso repository, focusing on scalable ticket data retrieval and maintainable ORM foundations. Developed new TicketDao methods to fetch tickets by code pattern and airport ID, and updated the JdbcTemplate to support querying multiple objects, streamlining future analytics and reporting. Configured Hibernate ORM mappings for Airport, Passenger, and Ticket entities, initializing EntityManager and EntityManagerFactory to enable robust database interactions. Leveraged Java, Hibernate, and SQL to establish a DAO-pattern approach that improves traceability and reduces time-to-inspect tickets, laying groundwork for maintainable and extensible data access code without reported bugs.
