During May 2025, M. Dennstaedt focused on improving build stability for the bel_projects repository at GSI-CS-CO by addressing a persistent issue in the embedded systems build process. He migrated the lm32-include module to use absolute include paths in C, replacing fragile relative includes for wb_timer_regs.h and updating aux.h accordingly. By enabling WBTIMER_INCL in the build system configuration, he ensured essential header files were reliably located during compilation. These targeted changes reduced build failures, improved CI reliability, and simplified onboarding for new contributors, demonstrating a strong grasp of build system configuration and embedded systems development in a collaborative environment.
