Worked on improving build reliability and cross-environment reproducibility for the opengisch/QField project by addressing a critical issue in the Docker-based build process. Focused on containerization and DevOps practices, the developer resolved a persistent Qt-Base build failure on x64-linux by updating the Dockerfile to include the necessary libsm and libice dependencies. This targeted bug fix ensured that both continuous integration and local development environments could successfully build Qt-Base, supporting smoother contributor onboarding and enabling downstream feature development. The work leveraged Dockerfile expertise and a strong understanding of build dependencies, resulting in more robust and predictable developer workflows for the repository.
