Worked on the rdkcentral/Thunder repository, focusing on configuration management, documentation, and system administration using C++, CMake, and Markdown. Addressed a critical UI routing issue by ensuring the root Thunder URL is consistently served by the UI index.html, which improved reliability and reduced user-facing errors across different configurations. Updated configuration files and documentation to reflect the new redirect behavior, promoting stability and reducing future misconfigurations. Additionally, streamlined the documentation structure by removing outdated navigation and deleting unused files, making contributor onboarding easier and lowering maintenance overhead. Changes were targeted, low-risk, and aimed at improving maintainability and cross-file consistency.
