Worked on stabilizing container deployments for the wearefrank/haalcentraal-connector repository, focusing on reducing deployment flakiness and improving CI/CD reliability. Addressed timing issues by implementing a startup delay within the continuous integration pipeline and introducing a post-health-check wait to ensure containers were fully ready before receiving traffic. Used Docker and YAML to define and orchestrate these changes, enhancing the reliability of automated deployments. The approach resulted in fewer deployment incidents and faster recovery from flaky runs, demonstrating a practical application of DevOps principles and health-check strategies to optimize delivery cycles and maintain consistent deployment quality throughout the development process.
