In July 2025, Balesterri focused on improving code quality within the FinishLine repository by performing a targeted cleanup of the CalendarPage.tsx file. Using JavaScript and TypeScript, Balesterri removed a commented-out line to enhance code readability and maintainability, ensuring that the Calendar Page codebase remained clear and easy to navigate. Although this update did not introduce functional changes or address any bugs, it demonstrated disciplined version control and a commitment to frontend development best practices. The work laid a stronger foundation for future enhancements, reducing maintenance risk and supporting ongoing development efforts in the FinishLine project’s calendar features.
