Worked on enhancing the reliability of chat stream processing within the bytedance/deer-flow repository, focusing on stabilizing the Chat Stream API. Addressed a critical bug by implementing robust error handling using TypeScript, specifically wrapping fetchStream calls in a try-catch block to prevent application crashes during network or server disruptions. Incorporated targeted logging to the console, which improved observability and facilitated faster debugging without affecting the user experience. The work emphasized API integration and frontend development, aligning with project reliability goals. These changes contributed to increased uptime and a more predictable chat streaming experience, while maintaining clear and traceable code updates.
