Worked on the zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr repository, delivering two production-focused features over two months. Developed a configurable Hawkbit update reboot mechanism in C, allowing applications to defer automatic reboots after OTA updates and perform necessary cleanup, which improved system reliability and reduced downtime. Later, implemented a power-saving mode for the ESP32 WiFi driver, enabling applications to manage radio power usage through standard networking APIs and extend battery life in embedded deployments. Demonstrated expertise in embedded systems, configuration management, and driver development, with all changes integrated into Zephyr’s update and networking workflows. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
