Worked on the rhinstaller/anaconda repository to enable geolocation support for the Fedora Workstation Live Image by modifying system configuration files written in conf. The approach involved removing the configuration that previously disabled geolocation, allowing the live image to utilize geolocation services for improved localization and a smoother first-run startup experience. This targeted change was designed to be low-risk and included clear documentation to facilitate future enhancements and testing. The work focused on profile-level configuration management, leveraging expertise in system configuration and conf syntax to deliver a feature that enhances user experience without introducing instability or complexity to the build process.
