Focused on system configuration and environment variables using C++, the work involved refactoring the environment variable forwarding path to improve reliability and user experience on Linux systems. The changes ensured that state management during startup and session initialization aligned with modern Linux standards, reducing configuration friction for users. Careful attention was given to code maintenance and documentation to support release readiness and ongoing maintainability of the feature.
