Mark Rijckenberg enhanced the gaming experience on the GLF-OS repository by developing and integrating new tools, including the umu-launcher, into the system’s gaming configuration. Working primarily with Nix and leveraging skills in package management and system configuration, Mark updated the gaming.nix file to support these additions, enabling reproducible builds and more consistent gaming environments. This work resulted in a more capable gaming stack that improves both game availability and launch performance for end users. While the project scope was focused and did not involve bug fixes, the delivered feature addressed setup complexity and contributed to a smoother gaming workflow.
