Worked on enhancing AI agent integration within the vertelab/odoo-ai repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using Python. The work involved hardening the retrieval of API keys and improving error handling for Hugging Face models, which reduced integration failures and improved reliability. Adjustments were made to the MailChannel model to ensure accurate identification of AI quests in chat channels across multiple Odoo versions, broadening compatibility. Additionally, the run_powerbox_quest function was updated to return AI message content directly, streamlining downstream processing. These changes resulted in a more robust, maintainable interface for integrating LLM services with Odoo environments.
