Worked on the influxdata/homebrew-core repository to refactor the Gbox package’s build dependencies, focusing on streamlining the build process and improving maintainability. Using Ruby and expertise in Homebrew Formulae, removed unnecessary dependencies such as kapp, kind, and node, and introduced frpc to better align with updated build requirements. Updated the formula’s description and caveats to provide clearer guidance for developers and users, ensuring documentation accurately reflected the new build flow. This targeted change simplified the dependency graph, enhanced build stability, and clarified the package’s purpose, resulting in a more maintainable and user-friendly Homebrew formula for the Gbox package.
