Worked on the fossasia/scrum_helper repository to enhance GitHub user validation by improving error handling and API error messaging. Focused on refactoring JavaScript code to deliver more precise feedback to users and downstream systems during validation flows. Implemented structured error handling for both user input and API responses, ensuring that ambiguous errors were reduced and accurate messages surfaced across various failure scenarios. This approach improved the overall reliability and robustness of the system while lowering the support burden.
