Worked on the streamich/tldraw repository to deliver a public API for collaboration hooks, focusing on enhancing real-time collaboration extensibility. Developed and exposed the usePeerIds and usePresence hooks, allowing developers to customize collaboration components and streamline integration with partner applications. The implementation, written in TypeScript and leveraging React for front end development, reduced friction for embedding real-time features by making these hooks accessible as part of the public API. This work expanded the project’s integration capabilities, enabling customers and partners to tailor collaborative experiences more easily within their own applications while maintaining a clean and maintainable codebase.
