Worked on the meshtrade/api repository to deliver automated Buf Registry Release Automation, streamlining the API release workflow for the team. Developed a GitHub Actions workflow written in YAML that triggers on release publication, leveraging buf-action to automatically push new API versions to the Buf registry and label them with the corresponding release tag. This approach eliminated manual steps in the release process, ensuring consistent registration and versioning of APIs for consumers. Focused on CI/CD best practices, the solution improved release reliability and reduced time-to-market by integrating Buf and GitHub Actions, demonstrating a targeted application of automation in API lifecycle management.
