Worked on localization enhancements for the OMEdit component within the OpenModelica repository, focusing on improving multilingual support for Swedish and Chinese users. Leveraged C++, XML, and internationalization techniques to consolidate and update UI strings, ensuring greater consistency and accuracy across languages. Addressed issues in Chinese translations by correcting and committing updates to the OMEdit_zh_CN.ts file, while also refining Swedish language support. These efforts aimed to streamline the onboarding process for non-English speakers and facilitate broader adoption of OMEdit in international teams. The work emphasized usability improvements and robust language support without introducing new bug fixes during the period.
