Worked on the tensorzero/tensorzero repository to enhance configuration flexibility for object storage endpoints by enabling support for environment variable references. Used Rust to implement robust validation logic that parses environment variables and rejects invalid endpoint formats, reducing the risk of misconfiguration during deployment. Updated both developer and user documentation to clearly explain the new configuration options and provide usage guidance. This work focused on backend development and configuration management, aiming to deliver safer, more portable deployment configurations. The changes contributed to improved deployment flexibility and multi-environment readiness, all achieved with minimal code changes and without introducing new bugs.
