Worked on the nextcloud/documentation repository to enhance the onboarding experience by updating Nginx configuration for improved media asset delivery. Focused on enabling reliable video playback for MP4 and WebM files during the first-run process, this work addressed a blocker where the onboarding movie failed to load and the modal dialog could not be closed. Leveraging DevOps skills and expertise in Nginx, the developer implemented precise configuration changes that ensured new users could view the onboarding video seamlessly. This update reduced potential support issues related to media loading and demonstrated careful attention to both user experience and backend configuration reliability.
