Worked on the edifice-frontend-framework repository to migrate the mathematics extension from @tiptap-pro to the community-supported @tiptap package, focusing on dependency simplification and maintainability. This involved updating import paths, removing pro-specific configurations and environment variables, and aligning the codebase with standard TipTap extensions. The migration reduced vendor lock-in and streamlined future upgrades, while also consolidating TipTap usage to improve build stability. Leveraged skills in CI/CD, frontend development, and package management, utilizing TypeScript, YAML, and Shell scripting to ensure a smooth transition. The work addressed long-term maintainability by eliminating deprecated packaging and simplifying the project’s dependency structure.
