Worked on CAUCSE/CAUSW_frontend_V2 to enhance image delivery and frontend reliability over a two-month period, focusing on cloud-first optimization and robust asset handling. Developed a centralized utility for generating optimized image URLs, integrating with AWS S3 and CloudFront to improve load performance and ensure consistent rendering across React components. Introduced environment-aware configuration to support separate development and production S3 buckets, and improved image quality by increasing resolution for sharper display. Addressed download reliability by implementing proper CORS handling and robust URL generation. Utilized TypeScript, Next.js, and React to deliver features that improved user experience and developer workflow consistency.
