Developed foundational backend infrastructure for the silpapingali/DebateVerse_Infosys_Internship_Nov2024 repository, focusing on establishing MySQL protocol integration and backend scaffolding using Node.js and JavaScript. Built a new MySQL package with protocol and packet handling modules to enable robust database interactions and support future data-driven features. Integrated development tools such as negotiator and nodemon to streamline server management and accelerate the development workflow. The work laid the groundwork for reliable backend operations, providing a ready environment for rapid iteration and further feature development. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on initial architecture and tooling setup.
