
Developed a security-focused feature for the StrongMind/public-reusable-workflows repository, enabling per-application TLS configuration for RDS Proxy. The solution introduced a require_tls keyword argument, allowing granular security settings tailored to individual applications and improving compliance with security requirements. This work was implemented using Python and leveraged AWS infrastructure, with Infrastructure as Code principles applied through Pulumi. The approach simplified security management across multiple services by making TLS enforcement configurable at the application level. No major bugs were addressed during this period, and the feature was co-authored to ensure a robust and maintainable implementation within the existing DevOps workflow.
