Focused on streamlining the parse_pdf method by removing an unnecessary async keyword, which simplified the code path and reduced execution overhead. This adjustment improved maintainability and readability, making future optimizations more accessible for contributors. All changes were delivered as a single, well-documented commit, ensuring traceability and facilitating onboarding for new team members.
