Worked on the uc-cdis/gen3-frontend-framework repository to enhance user experience by updating the frontend to display a user’s email address or preferred username instead of the raw OIDC ID across all UI components. This focused UI improvement aimed to make user identification more intuitive and consistent throughout the application. The change was implemented using React and TypeScript, leveraging strong frontend development practices to ensure code clarity and maintainability. By replacing opaque identifiers with recognizable user information, the update addressed a key usability concern. The work was delivered as a single, well-scoped feature, demonstrating attention to detail and targeted problem-solving.
