Worked on the beyondessential/tamanu repository to restore the original invoicing workflow by reverting the Automatic Medication Invoicing feature. This involved carefully removing associated logic and tests, which helped maintain data integrity and reduced the risk of incorrect medication charges in the billing process. The approach prioritized system stability and simplified ongoing maintenance by eliminating legacy code paths. Leveraging skills in Node.js, database management, and full stack development, the work focused on ensuring accurate invoicing and consistent system behavior. The changes were implemented using JavaScript and TypeScript, resulting in a more reliable and maintainable invoicing system for future development.
