During January 2025, Harry focused on enhancing the GoodGame extractor within the harry0703/yt-dlp repository, addressing recent API changes that impacted live stream data retrieval. He migrated the extractor to a new API endpoint, updating the Python-based parsing logic and regular expressions to accommodate revised response formats. This work improved the accuracy and completeness of live stream metadata, including titles, channel information, and viewer counts, directly reducing extraction failures. By refining URL matching and data extraction processes, Harry strengthened the reliability of yt-dlp’s pipeline for GoodGame streams, demonstrating depth in API integration, web scraping, and Python development throughout the project.
