Worked on the harry0703/yt-dlp repository to update and enhance the GoodGame extractor, focusing on adapting to recent API changes and improving live stream metadata extraction. Migrated the extractor to a new API endpoint, revising URL matching and data parsing logic to accommodate updated response formats. Leveraged Python, regular expressions, and web scraping techniques to ensure accurate retrieval of stream information, including titles, channel details, and viewer counts. These changes reduced extraction failures and improved the reliability of live data for downstream analytics, directly supporting a more robust user experience and maintaining the integrity of the yt-dlp extraction pipeline.
