Worked on enhancing API error handling in the instantdb/instant repository by replacing the generic InstantError type with the more specific InstantIssue type across all API interactions. This refactor, implemented using TypeScript and JavaScript, improved type safety and provided clearer, more actionable error information for both debugging and user feedback. The approach focused on strengthening platform robustness and reliability while maintaining backward compatibility, reducing integration risks for API consumers. Emphasis was placed on improving the developer experience and client-facing diagnostics, enabling faster issue triage and more transparent error reporting through targeted API integration and frontend development efforts.
