Worked on the nashtech-garage/yas repository to overhaul the checkout flow, focusing on aligning the process with a new design and improving the reliability of checkout item preparation. The work involved extensive backend development using Java and Spring Boot, with a strong emphasis on API integration and microservices architecture. Enhanced the retrieval of product information by integrating with product services, updating model mappings, and introducing new API constants. Improved the service layer to handle data more effectively, while also refining error handling and authorization checks to increase resilience and security throughout the checkout process. No bugs were fixed during this period.
