Worked on the hashicorp/terraform-provider-hcp repository to address a reliability issue affecting project deletion during extended Terraform Cloud synchronizations. Using Go and leveraging expertise in cloud infrastructure management and Terraform provider development, implemented a targeted fix that increased the project deletion timeout to 45 seconds. This adjustment reduced the frequency of failed delete operations and minimized the need for manual intervention across automated, multi-environment deployments. The solution was delivered with minimal impact to other provider functionalities, maintaining overall stability. The work focused on enhancing automation reliability by resolving a common timeout failure mode, contributing to smoother infrastructure management workflows.
