Worked on the NOAA-FIMS/FIMS repository, focusing on improving the reliability of JSON output formatting within the Rcpp distribution path. Addressed a bug in the rcpp_distribution.hpp header by adding a missing comma, which resolved a syntax issue that previously caused invalid JSON and downstream parsing errors. Utilized C++ and Rcpp for debugging and code hygiene, ensuring the fix was both targeted and low-impact to minimize risk in a core component. Validated the solution through local testing to confirm correct JSON structure, and documented the change for maintainers, demonstrating a methodical approach to maintaining stability in C++-based data processing workflows.
