
Worked on the DUNE/dunereco repository to enhance noise filtering and enable neural network processing within the project’s signal processing pipeline. Developed a new PDVD noise filter configuration using JSON and JSONNET, introducing defined channel groups and extending the RMS threshold to improve noisy channel tagging. Enabled the neural network framework in the nf-sp configuration, laying the groundwork for future machine learning enhancements in DUNEWireCell. Focused on configuration management, data analysis, and scientific computing, all changes were delivered through clear, traceable commits. The work emphasized maintainability and readiness for ML-driven improvements, with no bugs reported during the development period.
