Worked on the rdkcentral/aamp repository to enhance platform stability and maintainability by addressing two targeted bugs. Focused on simplifying configuration through the removal of unused LiveLatencyCorrection functionality and deprecation of related APIs, which reduced dead code and streamlined the codebase. Restored middleware logging by correcting the placement of SetLoggerInfo calls, ensuring consistent observability during runtime and facilitating faster debugging. Utilized C++ for code refactoring and middleware development, emphasizing clean interfaces and reliable logging. The work delivered improved maintainability and enabled more efficient root-cause analysis, supporting ongoing software development and reducing the maintenance surface area across the AAMP stack.
