Worked on improving the stability and reliability of the Temporal Python samples, focusing on backend development and workflow orchestration using Python. Addressed a critical issue in the temporalio/samples-python repository by fixing a bug in the Periodic Polling Sample that previously caused workflow failures after repeated polling attempts. The solution ensured that workflows could continue as expected and that unhandled exceptions were properly surfaced rather than silently ignored. This targeted bug fix enhanced the robustness of sample-based workflows, reduced potential downtime, and increased user trust in the sample code, reflecting a careful and detail-oriented approach to workflow reliability.
