Worked on theopenlane/core repository to enhance the reliability of the Webfinger endpoint by developing comprehensive unit tests in Go. Focused on both successful user lookups and error scenarios, such as handling non-existent users and invalid resource formats, the work aimed to strengthen endpoint robustness and reduce the risk of regression. Leveraging skills in backend development, API testing, and unit testing, the developer adopted a test-driven approach to ensure thorough coverage of edge cases. These improvements accelerated feedback loops in continuous integration, providing clearer CI signals and supporting ongoing quality assurance for user lookup functionality within the project’s backend services.
