In June 2025, Alex Chipman modernized build and CI/CD systems across several Netflix OSS repositories, including dgs-codegen, hollow, dgs-framework, mantis, and zuul. Alex migrated artifact publishing from Sonatype OSSRH Legacy to the Central Portal by upgrading the nebula.netflixoss plugin and Gradle tooling, ensuring compatibility and improved security. He enhanced GitHub Actions workflows using YAML and Groovy, focusing on reliability and forward-compatible changes. By centralizing publishing and updating dependency management, Alex enabled faster, auditable releases and simplified future migrations. His work demonstrated depth in build automation, plugin management, and CI/CD, addressing cross-repo coordination and long-term maintainability.
