Worked on the govuk-one-login/mobile-android-ui repository to modernize and standardize CI/CD processes for Android development. Migrated build logic into a reusable GitHub Action, centralizing Android build and validation workflows in a dedicated repository to promote consistency and governance across projects. Leveraged Kotlin, YAML, and Gradle to implement these changes, enabling earlier defect detection through integrated SonarQube scanning and reducing technical debt. The approach eliminated duplicate build logic, streamlined maintenance, and established a repeatable pipeline for faster feature delivery. This work laid a scalable foundation for cross-project automation, improving maintainability and quality assurance throughout the Android UI codebase.
