Worked on enhancing the geode-sdk/geode installer by implementing Portuguese (Portugal) language support, focusing on internationalization and localization best practices. The approach involved creating a dedicated pt-pt language file and updating the main NSIS script to register the new language, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for PT-PT users. Additionally, standardized language identifiers across installer files by renaming PortuguesePT to Portuguese, improving consistency and maintainability. The work was delivered as a complete feature within the month, prioritizing code clarity and future extensibility. Utilized NSIS scripting and installer development skills to lay the foundation for broader localization efforts in the project.
