Worked on enhancing build reliability and runtime stability across GoogleCloudPlatform/gcsfuse and red-hat-data-services/data-science-pipelines. Addressed build-time issues in gcsfuse by ensuring environment variables, including HTTP proxy settings, are passed to the Go build process, enabling successful builds in restricted network environments. Improved the metadata-writer component in data-science-pipelines by implementing robust HTTP timeout handling with the Kubernetes client, updating libraries and configuration to prevent crashes during metadata processing. Leveraged Go and Python for backend development, focusing on build systems, CI/CD, and error handling. These contributions reduced deployment failures and improved operational resilience in enterprise Kubernetes environments.
