Worked on the edge-core/sonic-buildimage repository to deliver a targeted networking feature for the AS9736 platform, focusing on embedded systems and network configuration. Enabled Auto Negotiation by default on management ports, removing the previous default setting that had disabled this capability. This adjustment simplified provisioning and reduced the need for manual configuration, directly improving platform readiness and connectivity for new AS9736 deployments. The work was implemented using Python and leveraged expertise in embedded systems to ensure seamless integration. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and stable approach to feature delivery within the project’s technical scope.
