Worked on the nextcloud/desktop repository to enhance reliability and maintainability of the desktop client, focusing on both user experience and code quality. Addressed HTML rendering issues in encrypted warning messages and improved notification text with accurate pluralization and translations. Introduced user-configurable server poll intervals and updated disk space thresholds to promote safer downloads, reflecting these changes in nextcloud/documentation. Applied modern C++ techniques such as range-based loops and std::as_const for code modernization and refactoring, reducing technical debt and future bug risk. Utilized C++, Qt, and XML to streamline configuration handling, error management, and internationalization across the application and documentation.
