Worked on the zotonic/zotonic repository to deliver Podman containerization support, enabling Zotonic to run seamlessly in Podman environments alongside Docker. Developed a dedicated shell script and made runtime adjustments to ensure parity between Podman and Docker deployments, focusing on simplifying the developer experience and accelerating deployment workflows. Updated documentation to guide users through Podman adoption and modified the container entrypoint to grant necessary root privileges for consistent behavior. Consolidated these changes under a feature branch to establish a stable foundation for broader container ecosystem compatibility. The work leveraged skills in containerization, DevOps practices, and shell scripting to enhance deployment flexibility.
