The work included creating a main Arduino sketch in C and C++ to read sensor data and drive both LED indicators and an LCD display, providing real-time status updates. Leveraging PlatformIO, a standardized project scaffold was implemented to ensure repeatable builds and facilitate automated unit testing. Unit tests were added to validate sensor readings and reinforce robust system behavior. This approach improved maintainability and enabled quick diagnostics, enhancing the reliability of automated sensing within the embedded system.
