Worked on modernizing zip creation capabilities in the grafana/k6-DefinitelyTyped repository by upgrading the yazl library to version 3.3.x. Focused on enhancing flexibility and configurability, the work introduced new options for zip packaging, including per-file comments and global settings such as forceDosTimestamp and compressionLevel. Implemented a lazy stream addition method to optimize the workflow for creating zip archives, supporting more efficient and customizable packaging. Leveraged TypeScript and Node.js for API development, ensuring improved downstream compatibility and reduced maintenance risk. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus was on feature enhancement and maintenance alignment.
