Worked on enhancing the broadcast feature in the EternalCodeTeam/EternalCore repository, focusing on backend development and command handling using Java. Delivered a core user experience improvement by refactoring the broadcast command to consolidate title and subtitle handling into a single executeTitle method, supported by a dedicated titleHeader message. This approach streamlined the command structure, reduced formatting inconsistencies, and simplified future enhancements. The changes improved maintainability and reduced edge-case complexity, resulting in more consistent user-facing formatting across broadcasts. The work addressed both technical debt and usability, enabling easier extension of broadcast features while ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience for end users.
