
During September 2025, Pelado Silveira developed an HL7v2 ADT04 message generation and processing module for the andes/api repository. He designed a new HL7v2 handling layer that integrates with existing API surfaces, enabling the generation and processing of ADT04 messages for improved interoperability with external health systems. His approach included building patient data structures, generating HL7 identifiers, and implementing a configuration-driven message queuing system to streamline ADT workflows. Working primarily with TypeScript and JavaScript, Pelado focused on backend development and database integration, delivering a feature that enhances data quality, traceability, and the reliability of health data exchange processes.
